Christmas at your local

Christmas in Dublin is the most festive time of the year and it’s also the best place in the world to grab a pint of the black stuff and kick back and listen to some good old Irish trad music. This year at Pennyhill we have upped the ante and you can even be apart of creating the music, on Tuesdays we have a live trad session and would love to hear some new talent so please get involved.  Didn’t get the gift of musical fingers?! … not to fear. Enjoy some Spanish tapas and soak up the atmosphere.

Worried about all the hustle and bustle Christmas brings. Fear not, book a table for you and the gang and stroll in and beat those dreaded holiday queues.

Nobody wants a HANGRY grinch this Christmas. Turkey and Ham not for everyone? Lucky for you we have a full 3 course festive menu. From juicy Christmas rib-eye to vegetarian Christmas cracker, there’s a dish to suit every bodies taste buds.

For those of you looking to get a seating with that big lad from the North Pole… Yes, we did it. He is coming to Pennyhill on the 15th. Busy, busy man but we have managed to book him in from 2-6. Bring the Little One’s and make it a family event.

If all this has you excited… our music line up is sure to throw you over the edge…

View our Christmas music line up here.

Let’s face it, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a truly Instagram worthy Christmas Grotto.

We look forward to seeing you all at The Penny hill this Christmas… Ho, Ho, Ho!

The Pennyhill’s Summer Grill weekend

The Pennyhill’s summer grill event went off as a hit yet again. Now in its second year, the event embodies a fresh, exciting summer menu all made on the grill, BBQ style. Head Chef Chris created a variety of eclectic dishes that brought your taste buds to life leaving you wanting more. Drawing inspiration from the Middle East, he created the tandoori marinated grilled Wicklow lamb with red lentil daal which was a bold and exciting combination which complimented each other beautifully. The menu was across 4 days and had customers and staff alike excited.

We’re excited to see where Head Chef Chris takes inspiration from next year.

If you and your family or friends joined The Pennyhill for The Summer Grill, we would love to hear about your experience https://www.facebook.com/Pennyhill-Lucan-239394756148921/
